In 2017 our client Braintree partnered with a bike share program in the UK to attract new customers in London’s “Silicon Alley”. They asked us if there was any way to use it as a larger promotional piece than just having their logo featured. Our solution was to turn the bike’s mileage tracking into a digital race that took the riders through the entire country.
For this project I built all of the graphics, videos, prototypes and UI/UX from scratch. I even designed the bike. The introduction video at the bottom was constructed in Cinema4D using actual topographic maps of the UK and rendered using a pile of old Mac Pro towers that I wired together and ran in our server room for 13 straight days.
